The Boys Season 5 Episode 3: Every One of You Sons of Bitches

Vought sets about repairing Soldier Boy's public image and officially adds him to The Seven. Sage explains to Homelander that the V1 in Soldier Boy’s blood is what allowed him to survive — and that V1 grants immortality. The revelation ignites Homelander’s obsession with acquiring V1 for himself.

With Stan Edgar's assistance, The Boys locate a base that may store V1. Butcher persuades Ryan to use the virus to help kill Homelander, even though Ryan would die in the attempt.

Zoe Neuman reunites with her father, Sameer. Together they destroy all of the virus samples in The Boys’ possession and escape — leaving the team without its weapon.

Elsewhere, Cindy accidentally kills Maverick and is then killed by Annie. Ryan confronts Homelander over the assault on his mother, and the fight leaves him brutally beaten. Butcher arrives to find the gravely injured boy.

The ending turns on two blows. First, Zoe Neuman and Sameer destroy all of The Boys’ virus samples and escape, taking away the team’s weapon against Homelander.

Then Ryan — who had agreed to a plan that would kill him along with Homelander — is brutally beaten after confronting Homelander over the assault on his mother. Butcher is the one who finds the gravely injured boy.
