Meanwhile, Homelander wakes Soldier Boy from cryostasis, promising to clear his name in exchange for finding Butcher, and Soldier Boy aligns with Jetstreak and Sheline. When the virus is released, it kills Jetstreak and Rock Hard; the release also appears to kill Soldier Boy. After Vought scientists carry away his body, Soldier Boy suddenly wakes up.
