Character Biography
Biography
Agnes DeMille is Wednesday's stalker-turned-ally: a 13-year-old Nevermore student with the power of invisibility whose obsessive admiration for Wednesday Addams kicks off Season 2's central mystery. As the unnamed stalker, she kidnaps Enid and Bruno and sets Wednesday a puzzle - and when Wednesday decodes it and rescues them, Agnes offers her help to the investigation instead of running. From there she becomes the investigation's unexpected extra pair of eyes: she witnesses Isaac kill Professor Orloff, follows him to Willow Hill, and finds Judi's body - discoveries the adults would never have made without her. Her invisibility makes her useful in ways nobody plans for; at the school gala she coordinates with Wednesday to steal Dort's protective amulet. What Agnes wants, underneath the stalking and the sneaking, is what every Nevermore outcast wants: to be seen. The finale gives her the chance to matter at the decisive moment - it is Agnes who sees what is happening and fetches Enid, the friend willing to risk a permanent alpha transformation to save Wednesday. Before the reveal she exists only as puzzles and clues - the stalker whose games Wednesday keeps solving, each one a test neither will admit is also an audition. Her invisibility is both power and symptom: a girl nobody notices until she wants something. Becoming Wednesday's helper gives her the belonging Nevermore promised, and she repays it at the moments that count - small, quick, and gone before anyone can thank her.
