Rowan Laslow

Rowan Laslow is the first student Wednesday Addams really sees at Nevermore Academy - and the first one she watches die. A telekinetic outcast with a legacy at the school, Rowan collides with Wednesday in her opening days when she witnesses a vision of his death at the hands of a monstrous creature, complete with a cryptic drawing that seems to predict the event down to the detail.

The show plays the encounter as a mystery loop: Rowan attacks Wednesday to stop the prophecy, only for the events to unfold toward exactly the death she foresaw. His killing in the season's earliest episodes is the story's first proof that Wednesday's visions are not anxieties - they are coordinates. Everything Wednesday spends the rest of the season investigating begins with Rowan's body and the question of what, exactly, killed him.

The corpus shows his name surfacing again later in the season, as the characters around Wednesday piece together what his death meant and who needed it hidden. As a character, Rowan exists to be the opening key of the entire Jericho mystery - the boy whose fate converts Wednesday from a reluctant boarder into the only person at Nevermore who knows the school is hiding a monster. His brevity is the point: he is the season's first answer and its first lie.

Rowan Laslow is a guest character in Wednesday. Portrayed by Calum Ross, the character appears in a single episode. Their recorded appearances are limited to these episodes on RecapHub, and no further character detail is documented in the source data.
