Boyd Stevens

Boyd Stevens was already the town's sheriff when the series began, which means he has been holding a community of the stranded together for longer than anyone can say - enforcing the talismans, the curfews and the hard bargains that keep people alive until morning.

His authority is the show's spine: he recruits deputies who die, sits with the dying and carries the town's secrets alone. As the seasons deepen, the forces behind the place begin testing him directly, and Boyd's story becomes a war for his own soul fought on behalf of everyone he refuses to abandon.
