Billie Matalon

Billie Matalon is Tracker's other reward seeker - the rival who keeps becoming a partner. She and Colter Shaw run the same profession, chase the same rewards and share a competitive history, which makes every alliance between them an uneasy one. Their first meeting in Lexington sets the pattern: same case, mutual suspicion, eventual teamwork. She is abducted while working the search for a missing baseball star, and Colter's rescue of her and the victim ends that partnership on shared ground. Season 2 pulls her back in for a case that needs a woman on the inside - a risky cover operation in a women's prison that places Billie at the centre of the effort. Season 3 makes her the ally Colter never expected: when he is injured and framed for a string of murders, cut off from Reenie and Randy, it is Billie who steps into the breach as his forced partner against a relentless assassin. Their cases keep converging - a woman vanished from a rehab facility turns out to sit on the same thread he is pulling - and the show keeps testing whether two people who want the same prize can keep choosing trust over competition. So far, they can.
