Tracker Season 1 Episode 7 Recap
The following Tracker Season 1 episode 7 recap contains plot details through the end of the episode.
Colter's seventh case brings him to Chicago and brings his support team into the field alongside him. A talented MMA fighter has gone missing, and the investigation reveals that her disappearance is connected to her family's immigration troubles. She wasn't just fighting in the cage — she was fighting to keep her family in the country.
The episode gives Bobby Exley a larger role, bringing the tech specialist out from behind his screens and into the field. Reenie's legal expertise is also put to use, as the visa issues central to the case require someone who understands immigration law. The three operate as a team for the first time, and the episode uses their complementary skills to solve a case that no one of them could crack alone.
The MMA world provides a vivid backdrop — gyms, cages, and the physical culture of combat sports — but the real fight is off the mat. The missing fighter was trying to navigate a system that could deport her family, and her disappearance is tied to the desperate measures she took to prevent that. The episode explores the intersection of sport, immigration, and survival.
By the episode's end, Colter and his team have found the fighter, unraveled the connection between her disappearance and her family's visa crisis, and demonstrated that the team works as a unit — not just Colter plus support, but a genuine partnership.
