Stacy Beale is the ATF agent whose path crosses Dwight Manfredi's in Tulsa King in the most complicated way possible: personal first, professional immediately after. A one-night stand in the premiere precedes her digging into Dwight's past - and her investigation has teeth, pulling on the thread of his identity while she opens up to him about what brought her to Tulsa in the first place. Stacy's pressure as an enforcer has real consequences: her informant Roxy is caught stealing a computer from Waltrip's bar and dies for it, and Stacy's confrontation with the Waltrip crew erupts into a nighttime gunfight that leaves her shot with a shotgun. It is Dwight who personally avenges her - killing Waltrip himself, a transformation from exiled capo to a general who settles his own scores. Her gratitude does not survive her badge: Stacy turns on Dwight, using the USB of millions he gave her as bribery evidence, converting their relationship from ally to adversary with a single decision. The arrest she makes in the Season 1 finale - Dwight taken in front of his daughter Tina - carries straight into Season 2, where the court case that follows ends with Dwight walking free and Stacy on the other side of the law she serves.
