Seth Milchick

Seth Milchick serves as the upbeat, avuncular manager of the macrodata refinement team, embodying Lumon's friendly authoritarianism. His cheerful demeanor masks the coercive power he wields over the innies, distributing perks and punishments with a smile that makes compliance feel like camaraderie. In Season 1, Milchick functions primarily as an enforcer of Lumon's rules, mediating between Cobel's surveillance and the team's growing unrest. In Season 2, following Cobel's ouster, Milchick is promoted and given greater authority, forcing him to navigate the tension between his loyalty to Lumon and his own ambitions. His character deepens as the season explores his own insecurities, his complicated relationship with the Eagan dynasty's racial politics, and his struggle to maintain authority over a team that no longer trusts him. Milchick represents the banality of corporate evil, a man who administers cruelty through potlucks and team-building exercises.
