DeeDee claims Gisela insisted on all-vintage lights, and the claim is contradicted by Gisela herself - one of the details that closes in on DeeDee's guilt alongside the rubber-lined gloves consistent with handling the lights, Dirk's long calls with his agent's assistant Holly, and the cookie that reveals her colour blindness, the same condition behind the red and green baubles she stored jumbled together. Twice in two seasons, Gisela is the fashion-world constant whose presence - her eyewear in one case, her contradicted word in the next - is the detail that decides what the truth is.
