Clara

Clara is one of the Township's resident survivors - a young woman who was new once, too, and learned the town's brutal rules: the talismans come inside at dusk, the doors stay chained, and nobody walks at night.

Her arc belongs to the show's quiet engine - the established residents who take in each new busload of arrivals, teach them survival, and keep breaking anyway, because the town refuses to let anyone stay whole.
